I found myself in Oak Island, North Carolina. It’s a quiet beach area, very much unlike the Outer Banks and Myrtle Beach. The area has a local feel, and beautiful beaches. These two brought me down from DC to capture their day, and it was quite the build up beforehand.
The week before, the weather was threatening rain. Their day ended up being gorgeous, ranging from overly bright, to severe overcast. My first beach wedding, I truly enjoyed the challenge of working in a variable environment.
I love this wedding and the care-free breeze of the day. Held on the family’s treasured beach property (that is lighthouse-adjacent), these two wed among their family and friends.
Hi! I’m Brandon, a photographer in Washington, D.C.
My inspiration comes from the challenge that comes with each new session: to connect with people and be allowed into their world. My work strives to capture fleeting moments in a unique, cohesive, and beautiful set of images.
